Look great for the holidays with Cellulaze

 In Cellulite Treatments, Liposuction

The countdown to the holiday season has begun, and that means it’s time to make sure you look your best for those upcoming holiday parties and get-togethers. If you’re like most people, looking your best means getting rid of stubborn, bumpy cellulite so you look trimmer and slimmer and feel much more confident. When it comes to cellulite, there’s good news and bad news: The bad news – cellulite can be extremely difficult to get rid of because it just doesn’t respond to diet and exercise like “normal” fatty deposits. The good news – Cellulaze can help you banish cellulite for good, and there’s no prolonged recovery period so you can have treatment without disrupting your life.

How does Cellulaze work?

To understand how Cellulaze works, first you have to know a little bit about cellulite. Most of us mistakenly believe cellulite is just more fat – fat that looks like bumpy “cottage cheese” just under the skin. But actually, cellulite is fat and fluid that’s trapped within fibrous bands of connective tissue that form little pockets just beneath the skin’s surface. As we get older, these fibrous bands actually become tougher and more easily visible beneath the skin. They also provide a strong barrier to fat-burning interventions like diet and exercise – even liposuction.

In order to get rid of the fluid and fat that build up in these little pockets, we need to break down the connective tissue bands so fat and fluids can be released and removed from the body. Cellulaze was developed specifically to break through those fibrous bands of tissue to release fat and fluids, which can then be aspirated through a special suction tip. The result: Smoother, firmer-looking skin. Plus, Cellulaze also promotes the production of healthy collagen, one of the building blocks of healthy skin that helps it look younger and firmer over time.

What should I expect during and after treatment?

Cellulaze uses tiny incisions to allow the specially-designed cannula, or tube, to reach the treatment area. Most procedures take only about 60 to 90 minutes can can be performed under local anesthesia and sedation on an outpatient basis. After treatment, you’ll probably experience some slight redness, swelling and bruising which can take a few days to a week or so to completely resolve. A compression bandage or garment may be worn afterward to help tissues heal faster and keep swelling to a minimum.

Once initial healing takes place, you’ll notice a smoother appearance, and thanks to those beneficial effects on collagen growth, you may continue to see improvements in your skin’s tone and texture for weeks to come.
