Your Concern: Excess, Stubborn Fat
Treatment: Coolsculpting or Sculpsure
How it Works: Non-surgical fat reduction can be achieved in two very different ways; damaging fat cells with a heat-based technology or freezing stubborn fat cells. The “Sculpsure” treatment heats up fatty tissue through a laser-panel without damaging the surface of the skin. Your body will then remove the damaged fat cells through its lymphatic system. “Coolsculpting” is a popular treatment that uses a process called “cryolipolosis” which essentially means freezing fat. The fat cells are destroyed by placing an applicator that freezes targeted tissue without damaging the surface of the skin. The fat cells are crystalized and excreted through the blood and urine. There is no need for surgery, scars, or recovery time. And the best part? The fat cells that are removed are gone for good!
When Will you see results? With both devices, result can be seen in as little as 6 weeks. Optimal results are seen three months after treatment. For more stubborn pockets of fat, you can retreat the same area one month after your initial treatment.
Your Concern: Cellulite
Treatment: Radiofrequency using the Endymed or Venus Legacy device
How it works: Cellulite and skin laxity can happen for a multitude of reasons. Whether genetic or lifestyle acquired, these devices can help you achieve tighter and smoother skin for your wedding day and honeymoon. Both devices uses radiofrequency to heat up the tissue to the optimal temperature of 42 degrees Celsius while simultaneously protecting the skin surface. Reaching that optimal temperature allows for collagen stimulation and remodeling to occur leaving a tighter and smoother appearance.
When Will You See Results? Patients see a tighter appearance after one treatment but often require 6-10 weekly sessions to maintain more permanent, long lasting results. Does it hurt? Patients often compare this treatment to a hot stone massage.
Your Concern: Excess bra fat or Double chin
Treatment: Kybella
How it works: Kybella uses Deoxycholic acid to safely and effectively destroy fat permanently. It is best used by injecting the medicine in small stubborn hard-to-treat pockets of fat. These areas include bulges of fat by your underarms sometimes referred to as “bra fat “or the submental area often referred to as the “double chin”. The deoxycholic acid permanently destroys fat cells in as little as 2 treatments, spaced at least 4 weeks apart.
Does it hurt? There is a slight burning sensation during the treatment and mild tenderness for one week. Anticipate moderate swelling in the injected area for 1-2 weeks.
