Zap early signs of aging at home with the Tria Age-Defying Laser
If you know anything at all about skin care and anti-wrinkle treatments, you’re probably pretty familiar with the benefits of laser treatments for skin that’s sun-damaged or suffering from fine lines, wrinkles and other initial signs of aging. And you probably also know that, until now, laser treatments have only been available in your doctor’s office. But did you know there’s a new device that can help you get the same type of treatment in your own home? It’s called the Tria Age-Defying Laser, and it uses the same fractional technology as the lasers used in your doctor’s office to treat fine lines and wrinkles. Plus, its focused-heating technology penetrates the deeper layers of your skin to stimulate collagen production so your skin looks tighter, firmer and more toned.
Using the Tria Age-Defying Laser
Using the laser is simple: Cleanse your skin to remove makeup, dirt and oil, using your regular cleanser or the specially-formulated Priming Cleanser. Select one of three levels, from light to medium to deep, and gently pass the handheld wand over your face. Finish up with the Finishing Serum to tone and nourish your skin so it looks smooth and soft. For maximum results, use the laser for a few minutes each day, five days per week for three months. When you feel you need a re-treatment, you can repeat the five-day-per-week regiment to rejuvenate and refresh your appearance.
The results of the Age-Defying Laser treatment are immediate: You’ll see smoother, softer skin in as little as two weeks, and lines and wrinkles will start to diminish shortly after the first course is complete as collagen production ramps up and skin becomes plumper and firmer.
Are there any side effects?
Some people – especially those with sensitive skin – report mild sensations of warmth or very mild stinging, very much like a sunburn. These are normal effects that occur as old skin is replaced by new, healthy skin, and typically resolve within a few minutes or hours of treatment. As treatment progresses, you may notice these effects diminish as your skin becomes adjusted to the laser. To reduce potential discomfort, follow up each treatment with the Finishing Serum.
Is the Tria laser right for me?
The Tria Age-Defying Laser can be used for both men and women of any skin type. To ensure the best results, especially if you have very sensitive skin or you’re undergoing any other type of skin treatment, it’s a good idea to talk to Dr. Sadick before using the Tria laser, just to be sure your skin is in its best shape possible. Dr. Sadick may also suggest other treatments or products to maximize your results.
