The Titan Laser is a non-surgical skin tightening device made by Cutera that uses infared light energy to heat tissues below the skin's surface, promoting collagen remodeling that helps tone and tighten mildly lax skin.
Titan Indications
Titan skin tightening is best for treating mildly loose skin on the face, as well as the abdomen, knees, arms and elbows.
Although Titan treatment may be used by both men and women of any age and skin type, Titan is ideal for younger patients with mild skin laxity who do not yet require surgical skin tightening procedures to correct sagging skin. It is important to remember that while Titan treatment may delay the need for invasive surgical skin tightening, it is not a substitute for and will not produce the same results as surgical procedures like a facelift or tummy tuck.
Titan Skin Tightening Treatment
Titan laser skin tightening is a non-invasive procedure and requires no anesthesia. It utilizes a laser wavelength of 1100nm-1800nm to safely and effectively heat the dermis, which causes a minor heat injury that stimulates the body to increase collagen production and tighten the skin through its healing process.
Because the Titan laser is equipped with a cooling device that provides continuous protection against burning or over-heating, laser skin tightening with Titan is virtually pain free and poses very few risks.
For maximum anti-aging and skin tightening effects, a series of 3 - 5 Titan treatments spaced one month apart may be recommended. Titan may also be combined with skin rejuvenation treatments, such as laser resurfacing and injectables for optimal results.
Titan Recovery
Titan laser treatment requires no downtime or recovery period, which means you can return to work and normal daily activities immediately following your laser skin tightening procedure.
Although your Titan results should endure for a few years, 2 or 3 touch up treatments per year may be recommended to maintain your Titan results for as long as possible.
