How Pelleve Works
Using a special Pelleve hand piece, your doctor gradually delivers energy to the skin, causing heat to build up where the skin and fat layer come together. The increasing heat modifies the collagen bundles deep inside the skin, causing them to contract and stimulating gradual collagen deposition, which results in firmer, tighter skin.
When the Pelleve treatment begins, the doctor applies a protective gel to your face. As the handpiece moves across your skin, you will feel a deep warming sensation. Treatment time is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. No downtime is necessary, so you should be able to return to your normal routine right away.
What to Expect After Pelleve Treatment
After a single Pelleve treatment, many patients are able to witness result and a lasting improvement for up to six months as your body stimulates collagen production. Additional treatments may enhance your results, so ask about a series of treatments during your appointment at Sadick Dermatology.
