PSP Serum is inspired by unique healing properties of the fetal skin. Using cultured fetal skin cells, Neocutis has found an optimal, naturally balanced mixture of skin nutrients including cytokines, growth factors and antioxidants.
The fetal skin cells are obtained from a cell bank, which was originally established for treating wounds and burns using a single biopsy of donated fetal skin. Now these cells can be used to produce skin constructs or within a topical carrier for applications in dermatology and skin care.
Neocutis products are exclusively derived from cultured skin cells that are grown from a dedicated cell bank, the same cell bank that enables the production of biological bandages for treating severe wounds, burns and other serious skin conditions.
