Vascular lesions including broken blood vessels, cherry angiomas, hemangiomas, and combined small and large vessel growths can be lightened or removed with laser treatment.

However, lasers may not be able to treat deeper types of hemangiomas and arterio-venous malformations. Treatment for these conditions usually includes lasers, as well as oral medication and possible injections.

Treatments for facial veins will be customized for each patient depending on your specific concerns, skin type and condition.

1-3 treatments are administered, 2-4 weeks apart.
Possible redness or cat scratch look, as well as swelling may be apparent for 1-3 days.
With certain lasers, a purple mark will be apparent at the area where vein was treated for 1-3 weeks.
Patient must not tan or use self- tanners.
